The UCLA Library system is ranked among the top ten academic research libraries in North America and continues to draw international attention for its superlative collections and innovative use of technology. To assure the Library’s support of UCLA’s acclaimed academic and research programs, private contributions are more important than ever. We are honored to thank the individuals, foundations, and corporations whose generous philanthropy has played a vital role in the continued success of the UCLA Library during the fiscal year from July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008
Board of Visitors
The Library Board of Visitors, a committed group of volunteers, assists University Librarian Gary E. Strong with developing the vision and future direction of the UCLA Library by providing program and philanthropic support as well as outreach to the community. The board includes friends, alumni, parents, faculty, and campus leaders.
Major Gifts
These individuals, corporations, and foundations made cumulative cash contributions of $10,000 or greater.
Corporate and Foundation Gifts
These corporations and foundations made cumulative cash contributions of $100 or greater or cumulative gift-in-kind contributions valued at $1,000 or greater.
Library Associates – Powell Society
These individuals made cumulative discretionary gifts of $1,000 or greater.
First Century Society
These members of the First Century Society have included the UCLA Library in their estate plans.
