Opportunities for Involvement
Librarians have many opportunities to become involved in the Information Literacy Program (ILP), including focused pilot studies and task groups, one-time assistance or feedback on a project, and attendance at workshops and programs. You can also let your unit's representative on the ILP steering committee know about your interests, ideas, concerns, and training needs and send information on your IL successes, presentations, and articles to the Information Literacy Program Steering Committee, which will help them highlight your IL activities and inspire others to become involved. For further information on how to become involved, contact Diane Mizrachi by email or by telephone at 310.206.5426.
