Copying, Printing, and Scanning

Photocopiers in the Research Library

  • Four on the second floor, three in the north-east corner of the building, one near the main stairwell
  • Two in the first floor Research Commons, one in each copy room
  • One in the first floor Reading Room, in the copy room
  • Two in the A-Level Study Commons, in the south-west corner of the room

There are no color photopiers in the UCLA Library.

Printers in the Research Library

Printing is available from all public desktop computers and CLICC laptops. The computers send print jobs to a shared network queue (YRLRC), so print jobs can be paid for and printed out at any of the three printers in the building.

  • One in the first floor Research Commons, in the large copy room
  • One in the first floor Reading Room, in the copy room
  • One in the A-Level Study Commons, on the table with the computers

Color printers are available to UCLA students, faculty, and staff in the College Library Instructional Computing Commons (CLICC).

Scanners in the Research Library

  • One 8½″ × 11″ in the first floor Research Commons, in the large copy room

Microform Reader/Printers in the Research Library

  • Three in the A-Level Study Commons, near the microform cabinets
